Gem and Mineral Show

We went to Gem and Mineral show. This Annual show starts from every new year. We enjoy going every year to get rocks and slabs. 

 Some of our shopping lists are for stones for Chakra. We form and polish special shapes for chakra set, so we need to have at least  7 different minerals matching with each Chakra. Some stones for Chakra such as Chysocolla and Red Jasper can be able to get by our rockhounding in Neveda. I wish all stones are our hand picked ones because that is truly come from nature by our effort of findings, but it is impossible. So attending Gem shows, rocks and mineral store visits are necessary task.

Looking for specific stone in Gem show made sometimes not easy task. We walk each aile looking for them. We were tempted to get something else before we complete our shopping lists. 

All day from morning till getting dark, we were shopping. After we got back to our travel trailer, I labeled name s of some stones  that I didn't know and put all rocks, slabs, stones out from backpack for next day.  We are glad to the backpack has roller on it because it became quite heavy in end of the day. 

We were able to find most of them in first day. That made us satisfaction. 2nd day shopping was more relaxed shopping before heading to home.
